So since we didn't have Emily this weekend, we took a ride to the Cape on Sunday. It was so gorgeous. We drove down to Chatham and then back..... Stopped at Skull Island for a game of mini golf, that I would rather not talk about right now.... eh hem...... (I totally got spanked! Not on my A-game at all!)
Then we stopped at this cute little pier thingy... it was so cute. I walked down to the water and there were all these little holes in the sand... and in each hole was a crab! So cute!We had a great time, just the 2 of us. We missed Em, but sometimes it is good to have some alone time too.
So in some scrapbooking news, the biggest rage right now is the clear albums. I see them on all the message boards. Well, I decided to give it a try too. This is what I came up with. The clear sheets are from Accucut, the paper and chipboard accents are Junkitz. The rubons are Bo Bunny. The silk flowers are Bazzill and the little beady things are Dew Drops. What do you think? No, really, what do you think? The others I have seek don't use any paper, just picutres,stamping with Stazon, transparancies and rubons. It was kind of difficult to position the pages always keeping in mind that I had to hide the adhesive on both sides of the pages. Creative Layering, I guess.
I love this Junkitz paper. I actually did a "about me" page with it too. I also realized that you must like something a lot when you buy it twice at 2 different store! Either that I have a problem...... NAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
